I took delivery of 3 iiyama B2209HDS today.
I chose them as the stand allows them to rotate to portrait and thought iiyama had a good rep.
The colour is terrible in portrait and the viewing angle makes it even worse.

viewing from about 20 degrees

Anyone got any ideas on what works well in portrait ?

rather than limit my replacements to monitors supplied with swivel stands, I will wall mount or triple arm them, so they need a Vesa mount and DVI input.

Also it would be nice if the bezel was square not rounded

My desk can only take 3 at 22"
thanks,
tim

Dont think I can keep that, get 2 1920*1080 and run all 3 at 1600*900 ?

Your problem it seems is that you chose TN panels rather than a better technology.

I wouldn't be looking for TN or TN+ panels at all if I were trying to do what you are doing with the rotation.

I actually meant a single U2711,

and yes all TN panels will suffer from this problem (only one I can think of which doesn't is an asus monitor which wouldn't work at all in portrait eyefinity due to the design)
