Whats the best graphics card solution to run crysis2 at full settings in the graphics in eyefinity across 3 1920x1200 screens. I can trifire or Crossfire or single card. What cards do you recomend

I am just about to upgrade to 2x 5870's in crossfire, but my single 5870 not overclocked does crysis 2 in full settings across 3 22" monitors at 1920x1080

SOrry to hijack the thread but my 5970 can just about manage Crysis 2 @ 1920x1200 at 'Very High' settings . Are you saying your 5870 runs at 'Extreme' settings across 3 monitors ? What CPU/ Motherboard are you running ?

I am yes, using a i7 920 with 6gb ddr3 tripple channel and a Asus p6t.

Honestly, no lag works flawless. not touched any advanced settings though.

well that's the same board and ram I am using and even with an overclocked i7 920 , 'Extreme' setting is laggy .

At 1920x1080 a 5870 produces 50fps on extreme quality:

I think with three times the resolution a playable frame rate would be difficult to achieve.

Not sure what to say, it is more than playable infact it is amazing. ( although when I said 3x 1920x1080 I mean 5760x1080 over the 3 displays ) can send some proof if you tell me what you need?

Ive not installed crysis 2 yet, wben i get chance i will give it a blast with my single 6970 @ 5760x1080 and run fraps to see what ir comes up with

Dont get me wrong , I can play it in Extreme setting but it can get laggy in parts of the game so I prefer smooth gameplay.
