My son wants x3 screens for crimbo and i need some advice please.

He has a asus P5K p35 mobo

asus gtx 460 top 768mb oc

I was gonna add another gtx 460 but the mobo wont support sli so i am looking at eyefinty with something like a 6970 or a first release 6950 that can be flashed to a 6970?

I was thinking of x3 of these but have now read something about the middle one has to be or have display port which i don't understand tbh?
What cables do i need etc.

Looking at these monitors.... *Don't link to competitors!*...................... HP s2031a
Anyone have a x3 display for gaming that can give me some advice?

You can use a FLEX card to not need Display port.

Basically you can use any three of its ports.

Excellent stuff stulid....is this the only card that does this?

Is there any other options i can take like an adapter which i have heard mentioned or a monitor with display port? thanks mark.

Was just looking at those adapters, but wasnt sure whether it was just to convert the cables.....champion as i was really wanting a 6970.

Sorry about posting the monitor link Jokester, it was the only one i could find with the specs on view with picture of monitor (should have copied and pasted tho....my bad) not really a competitor really when you think about it, more of a joke shop taking joe soap to the cleaners.
