EZ Curl Bar Cheat Reps?

Triceps should make up 2/3 of the muscle mass of your upper arm so they suold be stronger than biceps.

LIES! Its all about the biceps!

I did some kickbacks yesterday for the first time in... along time but the finishing position had my palms facing the floor. Really really good pump when supersetted with one arm rope pulldowns.
 
I've just started lifting again this week after a few years out and I really need to work on my triceps. They're as weak as twig. I seem to be able to push out 40kg on the ez bar for my biceps curls but when it's the triceps turn they frail up and I can barely lift half of that!
 
40kg on a bar after a few years out is rather impressive. what you used to do before you stopped training?
 
The same or not much more I don't think. Back when i used to do the gym I was never really that committed into going too often as I was going by my self and had no motivation. That's going to change this time round. One question though: Is it best to do biceps and triceps on different days?

I've read a lot about tricep/bicep supersets. Arms need to be trained hard and in quick succession. Tbh I've found a few weeks of supersets, dropsets and then standard isolation have all worked well. 'Suck it and see' :p
 
Without sounding like I'm wanting to pee on your chips mate....

How much do you weigh? I bet it's more than 40kg anyway, probably at least double that in fact??

Guess why chins are the Daddy for building big biceps ;) Throw in some dips and we're cooking on gas for BIG GUNZ! :D

Never really curled my whole life but always chinned/dipped and arms are probably the bodypart gets commented on the most.

same for me, rarely curl (hence a low strength in curls!) but arms arent small by any stretch!
