F.E.A.R. Benchmark Scores

Hi there.

I've just ran built in Benchmark test for F.E.A.R. and the following are the results:

1600 x1200
4 xAA AA@Performance
16 xAF HQ Enabled

All in game settings set to maximum except Soft Shadows whic his off. With AA & AF set in game.

Minimum 43fps
Average 87fps
Maximum 187
100% above 40fps

Now forgive me if I'm wrong but this seems way to high. All the benchmarks I've seen have much lower scores than this at these settings.

Anyone with a similar PC to mine care to see what scores they get.

Edit: I had shadows turned off which is why I was getting such a high mark.

Yeah. If you tweak the settings at all then it won't be a fair comparison with online results.

I managed to just about scrape 100% >40fps on a ~2.6ghz Venice with 6800GT@Ultra, but that was in 1024x768 with quite a few settings turned down.

AA x 2
AF + High Quality x 16
Adaptive AA@Performance
Cat's 6.8

All in game settings at maximum and soft shadows off I get more what I was expecting:

Minimum 34fps
Average 62 fps
Maximum 149

19% between 25-40fps
81% above 40fps

I just upgraded from an X1800XT and I was getting around these numbers at 1280x1024 with identical settings. The X1900XT definatley gives a nice boost in F.E.A.R. enabling me to play at 1600 x 1200 with playable fps.
