Ok guys just let me know your F.E.A.R. usernames so we can all stick them into the friends section in the game menu. Hopefully then we will be able to get a few of us together playing on the same server. If you want to join us you can download F.E.A.R.combat FREE at 100kb/s here:-

Oh go on then....

The only thing is ive gone over on my monthly download limit so they are charging me now... Can i wait just 5 days untill my account is renewed or should i just go for it and get charged a few extra quid.
 
Just out of interest, I've installed FEAR 1.07, and obviously it splits the .exe into SP and MP games. I take it the MP side is the same as Combat?

Yep as far as I know. The number of online servers/players has increased by nearly x9 since this patch was released! :eek:

yeah that worked for me just swapped the FEARL.Arch00 file, didn't need to uninstall or reinstall.

I tried that the first time and it sorta worked except the performance was rubbish, had a flickery cursor in the middle of my screen i would just die randomly.

So i did a reinstall and it seems to be working properly now, just downloading Combat.

1.95% estimated time is 7 hours :eek:

only downloading ar 50kb/s :confused: :mad:

But if you have FEAR working why download Combat? You already have it

I thought Combat is just the mulitplayer only version of FEAR?

Oh god don't tell me that. I knew FEAR already had miltiplayer but i thought that Combat was an improvement.
