F.E.A.R on my system

Hey all,

Got hold of F.E.A.R and wondering what my computer should handle

Intel E4300 @ 3.01GHz
Geil 1GB Ultra @ 836mhz 4-4-4-12
Nvidia 7600GT stock

It won't run smoothly at max so had to tone it down to medium and runs smoothly. Does this sound about right?

when everything is maxed, its playable but doesnt refresh fast enough when walking, havent tried action but suspecting will be worse.

I just thought I'd ask because this is really the only game I've gotten hold of to test my system properly and just wondering what I should be expecting

i've been playing it on medium and is fine. Doesnt look bad at all. will do the shadow thing. I want to get rid of this RAM anyway even though its stable and shove some 2GB in my machine as I feel it deserves it.

is going to be july time I will be swapping the RAM or September depending on circumstances but I'll be happy if the prices of it stay roughly around what they are now

I run it maxxed fine with only 1GB, yea I get some stutters, but not majour stutter and not often, but I cant play F.E.A.R XP though, thats a no go for some reason and it looks the same as F.E.A.R graphics

your gfx may play a small part in that
