Awesome. What's the temperature on that thing?

weird how i'm still at around 49 degrees when folding with my 8800GT but when gaming i hit 65!
All a bit strange but will go with it for now. Also by mistake i deleted the log file so no idea how much PPD till next unit downloads.

On a note about the sqeaking.
I just lowered my fans trying to get the least ammount of noise out of my computer, when I change the core clock freq on the card the pitch changes.....
If this card didn't matter to me I'd be inclined to try and make it play a tune

"Cant get this to work even with the .inf file. Setup could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware"
Hmm, GPU overclocked at all? Try updating to the 177.35 drivers.
Mine's still plodding on, about to finish its 12th GPU WU since 3pm... turned my case fans up a bit. Now running at 61deg passive. Might buy the extra super turbo module thing.

Check the install guide in the other thread, that should give you enough information to fix this.
run the nvidia installer, it then extracts the contents to a temp folder"C:\NVIDIA\WinVista64\177.35" drop the modified .inf in there.
you should then be able to re-run the 'setup.exe' in that same folder.
you can always extract the nvidia driver to your own temp folder, copy/paste the modified .inf then run 'setup.exe'.
Are people here certain that this GPU client doesnt poll a single core at 100%?
Sounds like cpu limitations [see above]. With the previous client with ati cards, it required a 4ghz+ c2d to use the graphics card at its full potential. 3ghz would only use the card at around 75% load.

I have two 8800 GTS cards, only have one installed in a Windows Rig at the moment. Our local suppliers are Nil on the 280's, so I guess I'll have to settle for 4700+ PPD x 2 ... never thought I say that from a GPU machine !!

62C with poop zalman cooler, will get a thermaltake v2 thingy soon I think!

Installed folding gpu client yet have another problem. Not working.
Comes up with a nice pic showing folding but fahmon reports below and the gtx isnt getting hot. Also GTX makes a little beeping noise quite but u can here if u put ear to it,, only goes when i try and run the folding on it not on it normally and its under water cooling so isnt a fan noise, any ideas? should i be worried?
