F@H Facebook app

I have added the Folding @ Home facebook app to my profile and added our team to the list of teams. It doesn't show the team name yet (just the team number in the list of teams). From what I have read in the help section of the application the team name will appear when the stats next update (3pm UK).

So for any of you who use Facebook (evil data stealing tool that it is) you might want to check the app out. The app shows your stats and also how you compare to other people on facebook who run F@H and have installed the app.

Edit: It also shows how our Team compares to other teams but only including the people using the app on facebook. We're currently in 8th out of the teams registered on Facebook. At this early stage it wouldn't take much to put us in the top 5.

Mind you, I guess there's no harm in a bit of FB plugging if you already have an account.

I can't however stand the number of crappy invites I get for nonsense applications, which is what makes facebook crap.

I've never really gone in for the pointless Facebook apps, but a bit of F@H plugging can't go amiss, so I'll give this one a go for a bit. You can always get rid of them, anyway.

We're up to 4th in the world in terms of teams on Facebook now due to Whitestar joining the team and making up over 50% of our team's points hehe.

Added my nearly 1mil, can't say I'm overly chuffed about giving in and getting a Facebook account but seemed a good excuse to maybe get in touch with some long lost friends anyway

Only 508,448 points away from 3rd place! I don't know if they are out-producing us or if it's the other way round but the easiest way to overtake them quickly would be more members on our Facebook team list. In other words... this is a thread bump
