Good cooling? No kidding, if you had 4 GPUs crunching away youd need a bloody wind tunnel!

Yeah it would need some amazing cooling, but can you imagine 4 X1900XTXs and Kentsfield running F@H? That would be some serious points.

would a DC cpu with HT (thus 4 logical cores), such as a p955 run 4 gpu's happily? would be a faaaaar cheaper alternative to a true quadcore
