Mr Berserker,

Unless you pull off one of your famous Backlog F@H dumps, you need to prepare Cell-9 for immediate departure ( no Visa Required ) .. just leave the keys in the lockbox on the door, as I shall be arriving tomorrow 11-07-2006 about 3am so EOC says :D

Current State of Stompage:
Mr. Berserker Daily Ave: 926 - Total Points: 517,162
KE1HA Daily Ave: 1954 - Total Points: 516,076

Taking the Cell's in the top ten is one thing, holding them is a whole different matter. I dont expect you to give it up easily :o
.

Think it's time for me to retire and find another project. F@H don't want to give me any decent work no more. :(

Latest one they've sprung me is workunits that finish but never quit the client, so the PC just sits there looking stupid.

I hear SETI is looking for more participants... ;) :p
yes - down with this F@H nonsence!!!

SETI for teh win!!! \o/

actually there's always Einstein - someone needs to give PumpkinStew a fright by seeing another active user in the stats :D

you should stay though - just play with your flags a bit and see if that helps :)

If you're using the -oneunit switch then that's quite normal behaviour for F@H I'm afraid :o
What, the bit about the core still being in memory? 24 hours after it had supposedly 'done'.

I could understand if the client did that, but not the core.

I'll boot it up one last time without -oneunit. If that doesn't work, that client is history (yes, the client, not the core/workunit).

Not to put you under any pressure, but the deed, according to Stanford is done:

KE1HA - 517,209
Mr. Berserker - 517,162

EOC has not cought up yet, next run for them is approx 2.5 hrs from now.

Yes - the client seems to end but the core just sits there, dunno why that is but it would seem that the -oneunit switch just doesn't work when run as a service :o

You should put your flops where your mouth is. You're only 15,000 or so creds behind me.
:p
Incidentally when I ding 30k in the next week or so I'll be posting another PIY tiffy as, due to an oversight in Berserker land, there still no E@H tiffies on teamocuk. :(

If I can't bring my GPU I'm not interested ;) :D

Actually what's a typical RAC for an X2 3800 on 24/7? Or at least half of one anyway? :p
I can't remember really spending much time on Einstein but I must have done a fair bit to get to 13K

You can use your GPU. There's a very nice screensaver. :p

At a guess about 400, might even be a bit more depending on your OC.
Or are you running at stock, ya wimp. :o :D

It's only at 2.4 at the moment (stock is 2.0), I may try for more but it'll mean dropping the RAM back down so depending on how much more I can get from the chip it may not really be worth it :o
If the chip will do 2.6 without too much extra heat then we may be on to a winner, hmmmmm :P

Looks like Rich is a Genious. Seems that the PMD core doesn't like -oneunit. Strange.
nah not a genius - just been around far too long :p
I'd never pinned it down to a particular core - just noticed it when I was killing off my test clients after the last overclocking attempt on my X2 :o
