F@H - PS3 Release in Japan

Was in Tokyo over the last 2 weeks when they released the PS3. Que's formed as early as 3am to get the limited stock, most places sold out by 1pm or so the news papers said.

Saw a couple of live Demo's, all be it, was in Japaneese :confused:

the Graphics are awsome !!

I'm not up to speed on the release in the US, last I heard was due out on the 17th of November.

Additionally, haven't seen the F@H client for PS3 appear on the download list. Anyone know when this is due to be released ?

arn't sony having a hard time sourcing some of the components still?

No new information yet, this was posted on 19th November by Vijay...

My hands are a bit tied here, but it's safe to say that we won't be releasing the PS3 client for at least a few weeks. I am working with our collaborators to disclose some more information and when that's arranged, I will make a more formal announcement.

There seem to be quite a few reports of underwhelmed consumers about. There are also reports that they get quite hot, so folding on them could be interesting.

However, if you stumble upon one and are desperate in the meantime, the PS3 runs Linux (legally) - though it'll be a PPC version, so not sure about F@H for that.
