Has anyone else got this game. I am really enjoying it. OK the graphics are not out of this world, but the gameplay is spot on.

There is something about holding the wii wheel in your hands with free movement and no wires, finger pressing on the KERS button screaming down the track with your advisor screaming you have just done a bad sector time :D

Im a big F1 fan and bought my daughter a Wii when they first came out but I would NEVER buy this. Dont want it to put me off the PS3 or X360 versions due next year.

Most games on Wii make me cringe.

Try it, you will be suprised. I think its the fact you sit on the sofa with just the wii wheel and steer like crazy.
I will also get the 360 version when it comes out next year, but for the mean time, this is a good fix.

Lets see,

Shift + FM3 + GT5P + F1 2007
Fanatec Turbo S Wheel
HD Projector
7.1 Audio

Vs

Wii F1
Wii Wheel
SD
Basic audio

thanks but err no thanks.

I saw the game trailer/video review for it...and to be honest, it just looks terrible. The engine sounds are nothing like real life and whats with the way the cars turn? Still want to try it though.

It's not a sim guys!

Games are about having fun, it's not always about realism or graphics or sound etc. I bet you all used to play gameboys, and the graphics sucked, sound was terrible, and most games were not at all realistic, but they were fun weren't they?

I haven't played this myself yet, and might not ever, just feel people should be a little more open-minded. The graphics are poor, sound does seem pretty bad, but from what rayer says it sounds like a blast. My only objection will probably be the price. May get it when it's not so expensive, but then I'm used to PC game prices.

Im getting this for the old man.

Its the wii for chirst sake do you realy expect it to be a sim? Just enjoy it for what it is.

Ill get F1 on the 360 or PC when its out

Tried it today. I know it's not a sim and I don't expect it to be a sim, but there are quite a few issues with the game which they could have got right purely on a presentation point of view. I was racing in Abu Dhabi and the frame rate was really horrible, but I can see it being fun multiplayer.

It feels like an incomplete product to me, and while I understand the Wii is not about graphical capability and graphics aren't everything I don't quite understand how F1 2006 on the PS2 can still look better?

I have this game. Within 10 minutes I ditched the controller as it was awful. The gameplay isn't too bad but the graphics are poor. I was that desperate for an F1 game to do me until the full fat version is released on the Xbox.

Nintendo are weak on anything slightly realistic racing wise. The N64 had Top Gear Rally which was great in it's day so it isn't that it's not possible.

Parts of Pro Street are ok, but it's just frustrating getting to the action.
