F1 2010 £14.99 on sale until 10th March

I purchased it this morning for this price from Microsoft. Its a 5.83 Gb download (not that O2 mind with my 20 mbps internet!).

There is only ONE patch and it made the game even worse and there will be no more patches for this game....ever.

Go have a look on the CM forum.
 
I said from the start, this would be a "release and done" title and it was.

Only releasing one broken patch is a disgrace.

Codemasters are a dreadful publisher.
 
Codemasters use to be good pre-colin mcraes death. Now they've been lost in the world... Even DiRT series was a let down :( Colin McRae 05 back in the day was superb.

AI are inconsistent in difficulty between tracks
Patch broke water and track rubbering textures.
Sector 3 times never display.
AI lap times don't relate to cars on track for any practice or qualification.
Silverstone track layout slightly wrong (at Chapel Curve)
Korea pitlane wrong (but not to blame as not fully built at time)

Still a great game but probably worth waiting until F1 2011 unless sub £10

No dry line after patch
If you get pole at Brazil you start on the wrong side of the track
The pit lane speed for Monaco is wrong
In qualifying if it says Rain 100% go out on SS tires and you will get pole
If you come in to the pits to changed tires and your the only one it will still take 5 secs before release
You spin off at a corner and the game gives you a 10 sec penalty for cutting that corner...ect...ect loads more.
 
The un-modded game looks dull and drab to the point where it constantly looks like it's about to rain.
Car textures are low res.
No penalty for crossing the white line on the pit exit.
Every track has the SC/red/yellow/green flag lights but aren't used, they are simply for decoration.
AI are laughably slow at some corners which can actually cause an accident if your not aware of them being slow.
You can still out-brake the AI by quite a lot on any of the difficulty settings.

Basically like others have already mentioned it was clearly a beta. I just hope that my £19 has come in handy when making 2011 the game I want it to be. I do enjoy the time trials though and the sound of the engine.

Edit: I think one of the more hilarious ones ... if you win the championship the number on your car the next season is still the same ! hahahaha

exactly :)

though im still going to pick this up new F1 season is almost upon us and this is the best it kinda gets.. i wouldnt want to miss Bahrain GP.. oh wait. :D

Three questions guys:

1. Post official patch, do I need to tweak any settings for my 6 core AMD processor?

2. Does the game run in DX11 natively or does it require a tweak for it?

3. What mods can be added to make it better?
