F1 2010 with Driving Force GT

Loving it! MUCH better than I thought it would be with my wheel (which I got yesterday).

One thing though, I'd like to adjust the turning degrees to be the same as an F1 car.

I have tried adjusting the degrees through the profiler, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Is there a specific way to adjust it for F1 2010?

Also, what is the exact turning degrees for an F1 car?

f1= 360 degrees I believe

Think F1 cars have at most, a steering rotation of 270 degrees.

They use round about 400 degrees, give or take. Obviously there will be slight differences from team to team, but 400 is a good default.

Hmmm I've tried setting some of these but it doesn't pick up my settings in game. Anyone had any luck with the profiler in f1?

The in-game wheel will not change to match your actual rotation.

How do you rate this game in terms of graphics quality??

I was expecting a bit more of a graphics update compared to GRID, but they're still excellent. I have them maxed out on my PC and it runs really nicely.

One question, i only got the DFGT yesterday and wonder whether it is possible to have it lock at the degrees of rotation selected? The rotation degree works and I have it working perfectly for F1 2010 at about 300 (mimics the steering wheel in the car) but i just wonder if you can set to stop at a certain point in the turn?

Probably like a 100%? You're turning the game from an arcade to a racing sim.

I'm really interested in purchasing this wheel if only funds allow me to next month

With the Force GT wheel.. it works on pc aswell as ps3 i take it? I am looking for a good wheel for F1 and GT5 (pc and ps3)

Yea logitech released drivers for it work on the PC too

miles and miles better. I played with a pad for the first evening i had F1 2010 and then bought a DFGT the day after. Its like a totally different game!

Gah haveing big iusses here.

Just a hard drive reformat, come to run F1 2010 after reinstalling eveything and now it wont detect the wheel

. Odd thing is the wheel "snaps" into place when the game starts.

Going to try and re install the game now

No way the game will ever be a racing sim, wheel or not

Saying that a wheel will be massively better than a 360 pad, especially as this is one of the few arcade racing games where (imo) a wheel really does work quite well.

They always said they were making a "game" and not a "sim". Still there's things I like more in F1 2010 than GP4 and vice versa.
