F1 2012 how to manually back up progress

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to manually back up your save game progress for f1 2012?

I might be reformatting and don't really want to loose my progress through the season.

If anyones got a solution I would be most grateful!

Check out GameSave Manager, it's got details of lots and lots of games and will allow you to back up all the files that are kept in odd places.

Be sure to back up your GFWL profile (if you have any GFWL games) - else you may find that your GFWL savegames won't work (they're tied to the GFWL profile)

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\FormulaOne2012

Copy that folder

Then once you have formatted then paste it in the same directory before starting the game and your profile should show up again. Or use Steam Cloud saves (a bit iffy for F1 2012).

Yeah I used GameSave Manager and works a treat.
