Drivers in market with no confirmed seats:

Kubica - Unrealistic, does not look like he is yet fit enough for F1 currently - May end up at Pirelli??
Jaime Alguersuari - On the market and "sure" of a 2013 return - Forcer india looks unlikely, although there are lnks to Caterham now.
Valtteri Bottas - Williams reserve - impressive performances compared to Maldonado. Should be fighting for a regular seat this year.
Sebastian Buemi - Mooted as possible for Force India seat
Kamui Kobayashi - Rumoured to have Pirelli link open..
Vitali Petrov - Working on getting a decent sponsorship package together. Russian GP in 2014 is a possible + to his options.
Robin Frijns - Sauber are looking at him. However, up against Esteban Gutierrez and Slim's money makes this a long shot. Perhaps a test driver role?
Jules Bianchi - Second place to Frijns in Forumla Renault 3.5, quality driver, but nothing concrete anywhere. 3rd driver role at a minor team could be a possibility?

Correct, he is confirmed!

The Hulk is taking a seat at Sauber next year. Could be good seeing as FI have sort of dropped off the pace they had last year.

Why would Caterham dump him? He's been pretty good for Lotus/Caterham since they made their debut in F1. What I don't get about Heikki is how, I seem to remember, people saying he wasn't good enough for McLaren but now there seems to be calls for him to sign for Ferrari based on his Caterham performance!

I said it was NOT looking likely they would dump him out, so your comment confuses me too!

Lewis Hamilton has reportedly agreed. He thinks it would be good for F1 if Karthikeyan had got a drive with Force India.

Nice bit of PR, and he cares not if there is another no-hoper in a promising seat. One less serious driver for him to fight it out with when he is at Mercedes in the mid-field
