Anyone else looking forward to this or is it just me... :) It has a new engine and Physics model and looks fantastic from recent game play vids. It's looking to be a nice improvement over F1 2014.

It's out this Friday the 10th on PS4/Xbox One and PC...

It's looking like it's 1080/60fps on PS4 and 900P/60fps on Xbox One although it has been mentioned both look identical.

I searched for a thread but could not find.

Been keeping an eye on it but not sure. I don't have my PC out here with me so only both my consoles. Not really sure this game is meant to be played on a pad. I think I will wait for some reviews and feedback before I pull the trigger or not.

I haven't bought one since 2011. still remember the 10/10/10 (or was it 0/0/0) bug/debacle and them hardly making any changes for 2012. Have 2013/14 been ok in the mean time?

Last one I played was 2010 and it will remain the last one I played. Same reason as above and the same reason I won't be playing another Assassins Creed after game breaking bugs were never fixed.

Is there any word about the career mode on this? The last one I played was 2013 I think and the career was a bit boring. Basically just playing the same season over and over with nobody changing teams etc.

Hi

Not played an F1 game since 2010 but thought i would give f1 2015 a shot after seeing the videos on Team VVV so just put a pre order in on pc for £21 :)

I hope it works well with my DFGT wheel.

There is no career mode, a rather bizarre decision

What?....So you just do single races? I'm confused! :D

You just play a season as one of the current drivers in either the 2014 season or the 2015 season which is pretty great having both in one game!

The last games used to have you making a driver then you joined a lower team then half way through the season you could move to a higher tier team etc.

Really nice to see it hit the 60fps on consoles :D

Also a handful to drive the cars should make the longer races a lot more interesting.

Codemasters tired this be the driver mode a few times. It started with f1 2010 a sort of RPG mode. I never bothered with it myself, I just wanted to do one season and be champion at the end. Win or lose, that you as it for me.

So the season mode is fine for me. But I wonder if the 60fps is solid or it tears... And working pit crew. One up on project cars I guess.

I may pick it up in a few weeks. Not that fussed but if opinions are good I'll get it.

I'm getting this as I've avoided that last couple due to all the bugs. But as it's the first one on PS4 I have to give it a go and I just hope it's not full of bugs.

It's looking like there is no career mode just a pro driver mode....

Bit if a shame but tbh I'm not overly bothered it will probably come as paid DLC...:)

No career mode? so what you just choose a race and choose an existing driver?

mmm I'll need to read about this as I'm be tempted to cancel if it doesn't have one.

I'm not %100 sure just what I have been reading online. It seems they wanted the racing to be competitive from the start using real drivers and cars rather than creating your own ?

You still have seasons the only difference being is you play as one of the current pro drivers and not as yourself (creating your own driver) and you won't be transferring between teams mid season.

So just all the seasons racing and championship points driving as one of the current pros.

As for framerate most peeps who have previewed the games are saying its very smooth at 60fps 95% of the time. Other 5% is in extreme cases such as big crashes etc. Replays are in 30fps however.

I guess as long as there is a championship then that's fine but I certainly want to see some sort of progression.

Hmm not sure how I feel about the lack of a career mode. It was pretty rubbish in previous games to be fair so maybe its a good thing that its gone.

But I don't think I ever did more than 2 seasons in any career so I guess single seasons aren't too bad.
