Anyone else looking forward to this as much as I am? especially after buying a new sim setup, just waiting for my new ultrawide to arrive!

I see you can follow a live Career this season think I'll he giving that a go.

Sitting watching YouTube videos!

Nope,

I've owned every F1 game since 2012 and they have yet to get online working properly. Every year I tell myself I'm not going to buy it and always end up picking it up cheap and am disappointed by the online bumper cars and lag.

I also read when it was announced the calender isn't correct and they just have the traditional tracks so no portimao or imola. So in my opinion its not really the F1 2021 season.

I'm the same, got every one since 2015 but I never play online really I play the career mode and time trails ect. But I do think that this year's has upped a bit. Apparently they have made a big effort on the damage side of things to make it more realistic, got the f1 live season, but like you say might not be correct but seen it'll be updated and also they have a new scenarios section going along the lines from the netflix series (Apparently)

Not perfect but looks good

I really got into the 2017, 2018, 2019 games due to joining an online league but the online is flaky at the best of times. Now that EA own Codemasters I can't see me buying any of these again unless they improve massively.

To be fair I never even noticed EA had taken over F1, is that probably why the pre order is sitting at £50/£60 on steam. Can be had for £35 on CDkeys but hoping it drops by release date or even the week or 2 after. I'm away on Friday for 3 weeks so cant play anyway, I'll keep an eye on the price.

To answer the OP, no - sorry.
The F1 games are decent enough, but there are other race sims that are SO much better - esp on PC.
Unless you REALLY want to just relive the season, then Assetto Corsa, Raceroom and RFactor 2 all drive SO much better.

I will only buy this if it has VR support. There's no excuse for it not to be present anymore.

This this this.

Mack from Worthabuy reluctantly gave a thumbs up for last year's on the basis that if you want an F1 game, it is undoubtedly the best out there. But then said he would automatically thumb it down next year if they don't have VR and I couldn't agree with him more.

Same old same old woth these sports franchise games, minimal changes year on year and charge £50 for the pleasure.
