F1 - mid season team developments

Good article here comparing the teams on development. Seems Renault caught up a fair bit and Merc dropped a little.

Looking at the graph it's difficult to draw any meaningfull conclusions from it other than Red Bull are faster than everyone else. There are too few data-points and too much deviation between races.

You say that Renault have caught up and the Mercs have dropped back, but the final data-point for Britain says the opposite. It could be an anomoly or it could be the trend for the next 3 races. Who knows?
