Since moving to a 24/7 Closed Beta testing schedule last week, we’re now incredibly excited to inform you that to everyone who has not yet been invited to the Closed Beta will be getting an invitation this week!

As long as you’ve signed up to the Closed Beta by the end of today, you will be granted access to the Closed Beta starting tomorrow. Many of you may even get access before the end of the day!

We look forward to seeing you in-game!

I can't say a lot as unfortunately it is all under NDA - however I have played far more of this game than I thought I would. Races are very lite but incredibly immersive

This trailer gives a good idea of what the game is about

If you are looking for a hardcore sim this is not in but it is a lot of fun :)

Its not too bad but then again its not too good, I dod play the closed beta and a few things did bother me about it, but hey its free to play so will have some people playing it.

It depends what your expectations are on the game. I played in the closed beta for the last 2 weeks, most nights playing at least 3 games - games take a couple of minutes a time so not a huge amount but I was always wanting to go in do various tweaks, check my HQ etc. I went from starting class U to C class to B class - I think their is one more class above that but didn't make that one.

I loved it, I want a pop cap style of game which gives some fun racing and for me it did exactly that and allowed me to have a side game whilst I waited in my League of Legends Queues. If you are looking for a web version of F1 2012 then this is not it and if you are looking for a successor to F1 Championship Manager (yuck!) then this is also not it.

Racing is good - their is some concern over how much players can knock you off your line which the devs are looking at but in a good race its a great little game and the racing can be fast and furious.

Closed beta is now finished, NDA is over and next stage is open beta which could be anytime now.

Quite happy to answer any questions and try and assist with peoples expectations

If you put this side by side with farmville you'd swear farmville was the more true to life simulation.

:) Couldn't stand Farmville and those style of games, maybe I just need a simple racer - either way I enjoy it a lot. I have no issues with people not liking it but really does help if you give more details which helps others reading this thread. Thus far the negative comments haven't done.

It's not web F1 2012 or F1 Championship Manager and never set out to be.

Then again just download it if you are happy re the line above and try it.

I only had a quick go last night of the test drive, I didn't know you actually raced the cars I thought it was all based around management and then the races would be simulated. That has made it slightly more interesting for myself but I'm not sure about the control method, I suppose it works for casual gamesbut from the developers of Micro Machines you thought they would have the top-down view controls nailed :p

Maybe you can use the keyboard I haven't actually tried yet. I may sign up and give this a proper go at some point. So far it seems to be too much of a mix of causal web based game and mobile/action game.

The control method I quite like but it does restrict the play - ie on my pc it's fine on my laptop with a trackpad I just can't do it.

I believe you can map to keyboard control but you lose the precision you get with the mouse steering, I might try it out though as I am pc less for the next few days. Definitely on the casual side and for me it's definitely a filler rather than the main game.

The other aspect is money is only earnt from races or buying points. It means if you just want to develop your buildings but not do some races for a few days you can't as you run out of your cash resources
