The BBC has regained the British television rights to Formula One from its rival ITV after a lull of 12 years.

The corporation will start broadcasting Grand Prix next year as part of a five-year deal, said Bernie Ecclestone, the motorsports boss.

Coming at a time when the 23-year-old British driver Lewis Hamilton is leading the championship, the announcement will be seen as a coup for the public broadcaster.
Great news as there'll be no adverts, but what will happen to Brundle and Blundell....?!? Not that I'll be sad to see the back of Steve Rider, though.
