F1 Russia moves to Igora in 2023

Looks interesting, I can see a couple of overtaking spots, but it's a really short and quite narrow track - especially for a modern grade 1 circuit. It's only just over 4km, which is 250m less than Austria which is currently the shortest.

 
I agree. As you say, it does look very narrow.

Still, a short track means that the spectators get to see more of the cars.
 
But why? Is Sochi now going to turn into a white elephant?

The only reason that Sochi was ever on the season in the first place is because the two most corrupt billionaires in the world love each others wealth so much.
