Didn't Ferrari change to a pull rod system, mainly to try and heat the tyres up quicker? They've had a problem with heating up their tyres since 2007.
The thing is, Pirrelli have now changed the compounds and the amount of the rubber in contact with the track. I wonder if at any races this season we'll see Ferrari overheating their tyres.

No, they had trouble getting heat into the rear tyres.
Front pull rod advantages are lower CoG and slightly better aero.

Looks a bit too 'offset' given the angle of the car in the photo, looks more like it could just be a 'trick of the eye' with something lined up conveniently
I've read something along the lines that the "slot" in the top of the Red Bull nose creates an area of positive pressure within the gap, and effectively smooths the nose out aerodynamically speaking.
i.e. it's more efficient with that big hole in it than the Ferrari solution.
