F1 Testing 2012 - Week 3, Barcelona

What caused the infamous Michelin pull out from USA Gp. Was that something tyres produced in a second factory wouldn't of had issues. Or was it simply poor design.

I think it was just that the design of the michelin tyres was flawed.

God that race was a farce. I was really annoyed that Minardi and Jordan stayed out.

Made me chuckle

At testing they practice everything. Absolutely everything.

Yeah nothing new and rbr aren't the only ones.

It's thought McLaren are using it to try and close the diffuser off, which is far more interesting.

Why was there so little running from Button today?

I read that they were using today and tomorrow to do setup work they wouldn't normally have time for on a GP weekend, to understand the car deeper and therefore it probably took more time than usual to do the changes.

Certainly nothing to suggest anything was wrong.

Malaysia spec cooling? :p

lol that car is going to be one hell of a turd, merc lost tons of pace last year everytime they used gills around the exhausts.

they were only ever quick at the circuits where it was cool enough that they didnt need gills.
