McLaren caused a few surprising faces few minutes ago when Hamilton drove out pit. Many media laughed at the rear, as McLaren's car looked like a kart. It appears that the movements of the McLaren car and will monitor above the diffuser, allowing the entire width of a measuring instrument is placed.

Trying to find a pic :p

Just need one for Horner. "This part passes all the tests the infidels have requested"

OP updated with today's timing links.

Heidfeld is on track today. To compare, Petrov's best time from the last two days is 1m22.493s.

Heidfeld went two seconds quicker than Petrov did (who's been in the car a few days) on his first day in the car and team.. pretty good going.

OP updated with timing links, final day at Jerez.

Wonder if anyone will dip into the 1m 19sec time.

Edit: Barrichello has done a 1m19.832s

Off the top of my head from 2009 the Mercedes was clearly the best in terms of it working well and reliability. The Ferrari worked okay but had reliability issues but was better at the end of the season and the Renault was okay but maybe not developed as much as the other two?
