Hi

Looking to sort f1 tickets for Christmas for Silverstone next year, is the only/best way to book these tickets through here link

Also what are the best seats/tickets to go for?

You can buy directly through the Silverstone website, or through the F1 site, or a number of brokers.

As for where to sit, it will really depend on what's still available. I imagine a lot of places will be sold out.

International pit straight available through that site and club Silverstone available through official, guessing those two are best but not really sure

Club Silverstone is £££££'s and the International straight is the old pit straight, so not really anything to see.

Christ on a Bike, Silverstone prices are ridiculous.

We got Grandstand seats in Shanghai last year (Grandstand at the end of the DRS straight :D) for £120 for the whole weekend and are doing the same next year!!!

Would love to go to Silverstone, but it's very hard to justify at those prices!

Where would you guys recommend on the circuit then as it isn't for myself :p

I guess it could be another grand prix in europe, Shanghai would be a bit much on the travel cost/taking a weekend out to go there.

Its an unfortunate side effect of them keeping the GP. To keep the GP they had to update the circuit, and that cost a bomb. Coupled with the gargantuan race fees Bernie charges they have to get the money back somehow.

It is in line with other European tracks. Remember that only the expensive ones are left now, and theres no early bird deals. Grandstands at Spa make Silverstone look cheap! But thats because there are far less of them so they carry a premium.

Of whats left on the Silverstone site, Club Corner would be my choice.

Is club corner at the old start finish or new one?

On the off chance Monaco is picked what would be your choice of seat

Ahh yes, the slight added cost of flights out there :D

Well I'm flying out to watch the F1 and also see the gf who currently lives over there............. She thinks that I'm flying over primarily for the GP :p:D

Jsut have a browse at the various ticket prices and make it a weekend away to remember, there are some great tracks close by. Spa for me would be the place to go in Europe and it's the perfect excuse for a road trip!

Unfortunately it would be unlikely I'll be going on this, particularly if Monaco is picked :p

Silverstone my best bet due to **** weather no doubt. :p

Club corner is the last corner on the new layout. I can't imagine there are any seats in the bit that allows a view down the main straight, so you will be further back with a view from Stowe down and through the Vale chicane, which is a good overtaking spot, and the pit entrance. Plus you get a view of the podium.

Cheers Skeeter :), definitely go for those then if it is decided on Silverstone

Are you looking at 3 day tickets? Assuming nothings changed since I last went a couple of years back your seat is only assigned on the Sunday. For Friday and Saturday you have a roaming grandstand seat meaning you can sit in any grandstand you like, which is cool.

Yeah will be grabbing the 3 day ticket, or maybe just saturday+sunday.

Always got mine from Silverstone direct. Also Luffield is a great corner to watch from. From stand B you can see the cars coming towards you and then around the complex and out towards the national straight.
