F1 Winter Testing

My Birthday is on the 23rd of Feb and I thought it would be cool to do something a little different, the testing is on a week before and earlier so I was just wondering if anyone has been ...

is it worth it ? What are the prices like for flights, tickets etc.? Would be nice to take in the local scenery/culture for a few days too.
 
Yeah am thinking of going to the final test as well in Barcelona. I gather it is cheap, something like 10 euros to get in. Flights from my local airport (Bristol) was £60 return. Not sure on hotels, but it is off peak so should be cheap. Would be interested to have some recommendation on those as I've not been to Spain before.

Jerez - 5th - 8th February
Barcelona Test 1 - 19th - 22nd February
Barcelona Test 2 - 28th February to 3rd March

That's a great idea, might do this for my birthday also. Will have to look into flights etc. My birthday falls on the first test which could be tricky to get to. Barcelona would be the better option.
 
Mini-meet :) Was thinking of doing Thursday & Friday testing and spending Saturday in the city, fly back Sunday morning.
 
Testing can be quite boring at times with long periods without any track action, possibly for hours at a time and even then you might only have two or three cars running a couple of laps at a time. Don't expect constant action.
 
I would have been interested in going too but I've just spunked a load of money on a 2 week holiday in Japan at the beginning of February.
