F10 dynamic drive resetting...

As title, has anyone had any issues with dynamic drive resetting randomly every hour or so? I've called BMW who have no idea, said they'd need to have a look at it but I'm on the road until the end of next week and need the nav holding up.

Just wondered if there was anything i could do, a setting perhaps?

Probably the idrive, my brother in laws old F10 did this from time to time four different dealers(!) never got to the cause of the problem.

It was his company car and he changed jobs and handed it back with the fault still there.

This was two years back mind you, you'd hope by now BMW would have identified the issue and rectified it with an update or whatever.

His was an early - launch - f10 and he had a fair few issues with it.
 
Might be coming up with the Connected Drive boot screen, if it has the newer iDrive system? Its what mine shows when first starting for a couple of seconds
 
Apologies, J1nxy is right, it's the Connected Drive loading screen. I posted this without the screen in front of me!

I've searched the net and this doesn't seem to be a common issue, guess I'll just need to put up with it for now which isn't ideal.
 
My iDrive reboots itself occasionally too. I've had mine since September and reckon it's happened about 4 times. Unfortunately I don't know how to reproduce the problem nor have I had time to take it back to BMW as I'm sure it's one of those issues that will require a few visits...
 
Go to BMW and tell them you've had crashing problems, they will then flash the software with the latest release, which there have been a few in the last 12 months.
