Unsure if this is a 'feature' or not, but a few times now my car has windows that open when the car is locked and parked up. I'm quite careful with the remote and don't keep it with anything else in that pocket.

Is this an issue or feature with the f30s?

I've been very lucky that it's only been open for 3-4hrs before I noticed it - and not raining either.

I used to do it loads with my e39 - just bending/sitting funny etc could press the button against the pocket/my leg when in the house in range. Soon learnt never to keep the keys in my pocket when at home and it amazingly stopped happening.

I keep mine in my hand whilst I walk away from the vehicle. My office is about 150m away, at which point (as I enter the building) i'll put them in my pocket.

When at my desk (eventually), they'll be on my desk in front of me. There is no opportunity for the buttons to be pressed. Also, the button thing doesn't explain why they open when locked, and also, more importantly, why only 1 window opens - yesterday it was passenger front; a few weeks ago it was passenger rear; just before Xmas it was drivers front etc.

Well, managed to get it into BMW today and courtesy car in the meantime. The Service Head said that usually with the keys it is all windows that open, not just one (and especially weird was that it was a different one at times).
