F6 & F7 BIOS's For Gigabyte GA X38 DQ6

F7 updated,

The only one problem i had with this bios is the new load line calibration.

When it was enabled , the motherboard wouldnt resume from sleep

But with this disabled it works ok  so much for adding something that is supposed to add stability

I don't use the "Sleep" function, so I wouldn't have noticed it...I suppose I will need a day or two to see how F7 works out for me.....was using F6b before this, which I found quite decent.....

I was running the same F6B before aswell and it ran really well,

After some more testing and priming etc with F7, im needing a slight voltage bump to get stability.

I may try that F6 final and compare it, if i have to bump this voltage up anymore on F7

I have the x38t (ddr3) version of this board - only upto BIOS F5 at present.

S3 resume won't work for me either...unless I disable the onboard sound codec.

Think it may have something to do with the fact that the 3870 card (which I'm using) also has some kind of HD audio functionality that is conflicting with it.

Just trying F6 now,

I couldnt get my memory stable at 1020 with F7 with any voltage up to 2.2v

Just testing with 2.0v with F6 and so far it seems stable, and the CPU is also running on less vcore

Tried F7, but didn't think it was as good as F6b, so have gone back to that for the time being, will give F6 a run presently...:)
