I picked this game up during a Steam sale ages ago, but only just got around to playing it for the first time. I've got to the stage in the game where I've captured the castle and become King.

I've been playing full on good guy, so after keeping all my promises to the rebel leaders I'm now seriously in the red. I didn't know I would need this kind of gold and only saved up about 20k in gold before the castle battle. And I only own one property, which I had been using as a family home until I moved the wife and kid into the castle.

So how the heck do I make like 7 million gold or more in less than a year? I have top level pie making, but I dont fancy making the gold that way.

Seriously?! But it says I have 361 days left or something. Wont that counter go down day by day ingame? If I went to sleep now it would instantly start the battle!?!?

I dont think its that bad a game, though I've never played the first two Fable games, so have no basis for comparison.

Some of the things in it are quite silly though. Like having to hug/dance/play pat-a-cake with every damn NPC to get them to be friends with you, male or female. Also the mini games for making money get seriously repetative and time consuming. Unless you start buying up loads of property early on, you'll struggle to make your fortune at the end if you go full on good guy.

It does have some really good voice actors though and the combat system isn't all that bad. And like the guy above said, the bit where you go to Aurora for the first time is really good.
