Not to sure if anyone played this or played the BETA?

but the BETA was awesome.... it was truly a great concept of game! i loved it!

I payed the first month to play and it went poo because nobody paid from the BETA

Its now going free again... but im not sure when.... you can play for free but onyl reach a certain level and then must pay.

But its not like WOW you just rank off XP..... the first rank is off mission XP but the second rank had to be awarded by a high ranking officer (another player).

It has been out since before World of Warcraft, played it then and was total utter pants, basically stand in one place and do nothing for 2 hours to get money and spend it on guns that are hard to use and (when i played) couldnt be used.

FOMs open beta started in Feburary 2005, the same month WoW was released retail over here (was out 2004 in US). FOM was released on 27th March 2006. So no, it has not been around longer than WoW.

Well... It got canned again this year after they promised it would be re-released with the option for Pay 2 Play and free limited accounts.

But as of December 1st its had an update and is due to be released again.

there is going to be a closed BETA, then an open BETA and from the sounds of it they are rebuilding it from the ground up and going to iron it out...

Personally i enjoyed the role play aspect of this game as it wasnt just killing NPC's and doing quests. Others hated it! Personal preference i think. But it will still have free accounts so role on Face of Makind!
