Yep, of all the sports the BBC broadcast I don't think any can match the sheer quality of the Athletics coverage*

*as long as it's not Diamond League streamed via their website

Look, the BBC have to get Ian Thorpe for the next swimming world champs.

And I'm amazed they've managed to keep Johnson this long, easily worth the license fee. McEnroe in the tennis as well, I know he occasionaly pops of to do US TV during Wimbledon but he does a lot for the BBC.

I'd love for the BBC to do some sports channels. They're production, commentary and analysis in nearly every sport is better than most other channels.

ITVs Tour de France was pretty naff, Channel 4's Daugu World Champs was a ****ing joke, some of the worst sports coverage I've ever seen. No doubt they'll be as bad for the Para'lympics. No need to say anything about ITV and football, SS can be rubbish with some stuff like analysis obviously their coverage is brilliant.

Eurosport is still very good and ESPN are just average at best.


Back on topic, great video and no better person than Johnson to do it.
