How the **** do you get rid of that stupid bar at the bottom of the page? I want my notifications back where they used to be!

Reinstall Facebook then restart. Sorted it for me.

If you mean log out and then back in again...it makes no difference? It re-appears at the bottom of the webpage.

Nah, I mean reinstall. Should be easy enough, just uninstall it and then run the installer again!

There IS no installer. Or uninstaller. It's ON the webpage. I honestly have no idea what you are talking about.

I'm confused...i can't find ActiveX on Vista? Or %PROGRAMFILES%\Facebook\chatter directory?

I can't even see 'Facebook' in Program Files...but you're not using Vista so...

Vista Ultimate...just set my folder options to show hidden folders so it SHOULD be there somewhere..tried advanced searching etc.

C Drive -> Program Files and somewhere in there?
