Facebook games without facebook?

Ok I know most facebook games are intimately linked to facebook with opening trade windows and all that rubbish but.... Basically my mother is obsessed with the games and the extent shes developed one of them slows up her netbook a lot. I was wondering if theres a way to take the game out of facebook and still have it communicate with it fine. Yknow like a flash game player with the same network options or however it works.
Just hoping to save her netbook some browser resources or something lol. I've never seen anything for this mentioned before so I'm assuming the answer is no.

Is this even possible I wouldn't have thought so.

I enjoy a game of Scrabble but not only need to be logged into Facebook but can't access it over a secure connection (https). Again because it's Flash based it's an absolute whore.
