Anyone know how to message large amounts of people with the same name within facebook...

I have set up a group named after me and am trying to get as many people with the same name to join, but just got a warning saying I was spamming people. Can only send the group to my friends who obviously don't have the same name as me

Add them as friends first, then invite them to the group. I did.
