facebook groups help needed

Hi guys i use facebook for my modeling info and about 6 days ago i hit a button inadvertently and lost all my group messages , all i see are the headers for the groups , i have logged out and back in ,removed facebook and reloaded and still the same , if i us incognito i can get to the pages but is is a pain to do every time i want to check anything . if anyone can advise me i would be very grateful
