Quick question - I can't find the solution online - hope someone can advise!

When write on a friend's wall, it says on my profile page

....wrote on xxxx's wall

However, when I comment on their status, it doesn't report this back on my wall - is there any reason for this?

Pedantic I know, but just curious!

I don't understand?

I can look on my mates profiles and see they have commented on other people's status', even if I'm not friends with the recipient...anyone know how to change this?

If I comment on my mates status, I don't get the line on my profile..."sandy has commented on so and so's status" - just wondered why
