Facebook iOS data usage

Has anyone suddenly notices their FB app using more data? For the first time in two years I nearly hit my allowance of 1GB. I've installed the weetrackdata jailbreak tweek to keep an eye on things.

But as soon as I load the app it seems to use like over 2/3MB straight away. Doesn't seem right...

I got through 500MB in a week when I was in hospital... there was some youtube usage but not a lot. I think most of it came through FB.

Well yeah there is that but, its been the current format for a while now.
