Facebook lets beheading clips return to social network

Parental monitoring stuff is nonsense kids are way too clever with computers to be trying that

Facebook disappoints once again

Nevermind children. I'm 25 and don't want to see that sort of **** on my feed because some chav posts it on their feed.

Should have kept it ban in my opinion. Not sure why anyone would want to watch this sort of video? I guess the freaks out there enjoy that sort of thing.

American morality it seems violence fine, some nipples on show then its "think of the children"

Just yesterday on my feed was chainsaw beheading... no thank but still subjected to a picture of it in my news feed.

Did I not read somewhere facebook was going to be auto playing videos on feeds don't not if that is still going to happen, but would be horrible if I was sat down and that video start playing when I was eating my breakfast.

Facebook is the Derp magnet of the World. A giant Black Hole for IQ. A place for the absolutely inadequate to feel superior to the completely inept. Race to the bottom. Yay.

"You have to be 13 to register..." No, you have to SAY you are 13 to register. Anyway, are we TRYING to turn our kids into bigots who hate all Muslims? Because that's what I'm seeing everywhere I look. Fine, show all the beheadings and terrorist attacks you want. Just don't expect anyone with any intelligence to be commenting on it. In other words: your kids see the beheading - great. Kids don't care about seeing people die. But they are then also exposed to all the idiots in the comments under such videos and are turned into tobacco chewing, flag-waving, tent-revival rednecks without a clue about the real world. "I done hate me them musalums. I done don't know why, but I bain't sma't nuff t'argue with t'internet!"

It's just a juvenile attempt by facebook at getting some media attention now that their business is not doing so well any more, pretty transparent really.

Erm, personally, I'm more concerned about the families of the victims being beheaded. It's the same for me as seeing "Horrific car crash with fatality" videos - would you like it if that was your family member dying on a video? :| Can't believe Facebook took this stance.

Joking aside, obsessive parents who feel then feel the need to post countless updates about their children are extremely annoying. Almost as annoying as people who make Facebook accounts for their newborn children. Or pets.

Well I totally agree - I thought Facebook put a stop to that? Pets especially.

I spend so little time on Facebook these days anyway but I've blocked notifications from certain people (or removed them completely) it's always the same few that post the same drivel each day. "Got up, SOOO tired" or "can't believe what just happened....." WHO CARES!
