why is it only certain peoples status's / pics?

what makes there's so special?

Live feed is everything.

News feed is what Facebook deems you'll be interested in most.

As for the feed, is it a News Feed or Live Feed? Live is more up to date, but if nobody has posted anything then it won't show anything.

It should show everyone's unless you've previously told it to not tell you about certain people's updates.

but news feed seeems to be different.

The top post on my live feed was 30 secs ago

the top post on news feed was 2 hours ago.

and that is someone pic.. but why that pic

and below is someones satus.. why that status?

i think news just posts random things, i always leave mine on live feed though

facebook hasn't worked properly for me in last the past 4-5 days, so half time it isn't working properly anyway :|

You're doing it wrong, it's in applications settings. Or possibly add or remove programs.
