I have a personal facebook account, now i want a facebook presence for my small business theres only 2 of us in it, now i have read https://www.facebook.com/help/?topic=business_accounts that says you cant have 2 accounts

So is the best way to create a page from my account or create a business account with a different email address whats the easiest way to do this and is there any advantages of one from the other?

TIA

I'd just set it up with your personal facebook account, that way you can get the updates coming to your original email and check it when you are just browsing facebook (without having to log out and log back in to your business account).

So that your friend can manage the page too I suggest making him a page admin and he should get the same rights as you. :)

Thanks fokes and is there any difference between choosing local business and the company one ?

Some of our work is local bus some can be national?

Make a page for your business. If you want to keep your business and personal lives separate, you would need to create a new account first.

Then just get 25 'Likes' and you can claim a vanity url. Try and claim it before someone else does!

e.g. www.facebook.com/yourbusinessname
