Facebook Profile Photo Optimum Size?

I make amusing photos and email them to a friend in Kenya, she posts(?) them as her profile photo on Facebook.

Whenever I look at them (she changes them from time to time) I notice that part of the image has been cropped. The landscape ones are cropped along the long side and the portrait ones along the short size.

I’ve recently send her one at a ration of 110:80 pixels but she hasn’t displayed that one yet.

Can someone advise me on the optimum dimensions in either inches, cm or pixels.

Thanx

Profile pictures can be any size ratio - but the width can only be 200 pixels

Of course, she has the ability to manually crop them as she sees fit within Facebook

Also, her "small" profile picture (ie. what is shown when she writes on your wall) will be a thumbnail of just part of the larger profile picture

Thanx but I’ve NOT actually signed up or entered Facebook. I just make montage photos for her and she posts the ones I make for her as her Main (Profile) Photo for a short period of time, when I send her new ones she’ll use those. It’s just that they all appear to be cropped in one way or another.

It must be her!!

Thanx
