My Facebook home page is just clumped by all the groups/fan pages I've joined and I don't get peoples status updates anymore.

I've gone through account options but couldn't see how I turned all of these off. I could leave all the groups and fan pages but it'd take ages.

How do I fix this?

I think you just hover over the offending peice of garbage and click 'Hide updates'.

Why must everybody insist on telling me what the latest bloody horoscope update is or how they found a pink cow in the farm. :rolleyes:

I think you can control it by the method above. Though make sure you're in I.E. Not all the options load up in Opera and I sometimes have to load the page using a different browser.

I did click 'hide' on most of the pages but for some reason peoples statuses aren't showing up like they used to do.

Hmm, just had a look myself the options have changed. Their used to be a slider allowing the user to gage how much of his feed was to be e.g. a status etc.

I've had to do the same, think I've gotten nearly all of the stupid application feeds off my news feed

Shut my facebook down for the time being, sick of all the turd that comes on it.
