Just seen this on facebook, Mark Zuckerberg posted earlier stating that he they will be deleting all Entertainment pages on facebook due to the amount of inactive accounts. People will be able to remake pages afterwards, but will have the like count reset to zero.

I'm really annoyed by this, as are I imagine a lot of the creative industry, as this means that every major page will be reset. This basically shafts a lot of people.

Facebook's actions in recent weeks, like Instagram this week too, is why we have anti-monopoly rules.

Unfortunately they don't seem to apply to websites. When you are the only viable social network (they have no direct competition of any relevance) you can afford to **** off your users as much as you want knowing full well they won't bother leaving.

If I had the smarts and website building ability I'd build a new Facebook. One where you pay a small amount a year (say £5) but for which you get absolute privacy, no ads and a guarantee your dada will never be used for commercial purposes.

I really think so many people are starting to fear FB's actions they would now pay for a service that would guarantee them piece of mind.

Did you actually see that on his page or are you just reposting it?

I can't see it anywhere and he doesn't post that sort of thing on his page, let alone with this grammar. Pretty sure it's fake.

Edit: Lol. Compare the comments/likes/shares...

Common sense should tell you this isn't true, come on! Think of all the money they make from the adds etc. on the side of the entertainment pages?

Ah buggery, just found out it was fake. Mods, feel free to delete this thread, sorry for wasting everyone's time :(
