Any help is great

Why did you need to reset the BIOS?

I'd say unplug everything and just have mobo, cpu, ram and GFX. just use 1 stick of RAM.

Check you have all the power connectors in including the 12V line for the CPU and the GFX power connector

Agree with trying above, imo its either a dodgy PSU, or bad power connection.

Try removing all bar 1 stick of ram, pull out your 4850, and use the onboard graphics card. Try to boot it with minimal items powered up, and see how that goes.

Still nothing i tried resetting the cmops and removing bios battery again but nothing, i have no onboard graphics so will boot up with 1 stick of ram cpu gpu, unplug all fans and leds?

,I just tried it with nothing plugged in apart from required things, still no post, but i just noticed on the hd 4850 the last gole connector thing that plugs into the pci-e slot is only half there would this be the problem?

mmm the plot thickens, one thing that might be worth doing is dismantling and rebuilding outside the case just to make sure it's not shorting out on something

Argh this is realy annoying me if the worse comes to the worse iw ill do that but it would take ma gaes, i must have at least 100 cable ties?

I just realised that it is probably not workin due to my CPU hitting 125 degrees before, the heatsink fell off so i am going to get te Phenom II 550 i tink, possibly the 720 depending how much dosh i have :D

125 degrees..? heatsink fell off..?

Dude, explain, what happened!

Well baiscally about a month ago my old mounting bracket snapped, te little pin fell off, quick aralditing and a load of copper secured it for about 3 months
next thing i know pc gets a green screen and shuts off, i booted up it kept shutting off, checked bios and then facepalmed the desk to see 125 degrees, basically the heatsink pin had snapped off again, and the heatsink was dangling, half n half off agains the gpu, so i bought the tuniq 120 extreme, but i tink my cpu might be a bit fried :D

ah well 3 year old amd 5000+ athlon, it had a good life, How should i go abut sacrificing it?
