Facia board question-can anyone pls help?

Depends what type of plywood it is. I would imagine that marine-ply could be used as its waterproof but it is expensive and you would have to cut it as it is normally available in sheets rather than planks. Ordinary fascia boards would probably be cheaper and less hassle.
