Factory OC not loading

I have a Gigabyte 3080 Xtreme and on the OC bios, the boost clock is 1905. However, GPU-Z says it is currently set to 1770, which is Nvidia default clock. I've checked in both MSI Afterburner and AORUS Engine and they both confirm it's set at 1770.

I didn't want to use AORUS Engine so I've already uninstalled it, but I also disabled MSI Afterburner just in-case it was overriding the boost clock frequency. I shut down and powered up and the boost clock is still 1770.

Anyone got any ideas?

It will go higher in game.

Use EVGA X1 V1.06 and not the latest.

My 3090 OC is 1750, but in game I get 1980-2000 if I keep the temps @50c

I know it clocks higher, that's not the issue. The issue is the bios is not reporting the factory OC, I figured it out though.

For reference of anyone else searching this problem. AORUS Engine seems to be able to change settings and they will stick regardless of whether the program is active. I had a profile that was saved on the silent bios, which has no OC, then I changed to the OC bios and the same profile loaded. This then set the OC bios at 1770Mhz. Even with uninstalling AORUS Engine, shutdowns and switching between the BIOS, the OC bios still kept the 1770Mhz setting.

To fix, you just need to go to/install AORUS Engine, change it back to what it's supposed to be, then you can uninstall it and it will stay.
