Factory reset code for panasonic X70

afternoon all,
i am just getting the above phone ready for shoving on to ebay, but have come across a little problem.
i have no sim for the phone, but need to make sure there is nothing left on the phone ( numbers etc ).
all it does is comes up with "no sim" and wont let me do anything. the phone is locked to orange, so i cant try any other sims.

now is there a hash code or something i can type in to do a factory reset to delete everything?

no sim AT ALL? rather strange

its locked to orange, if i try an o2 sim it comes up with "insert correct sim" and then will only allow me to make emergency calls.

i have no orange sims.
